My Favourite Skincare Product Of All Time

Update as of today (14th May)

So after writing this post, my skin was gradually getting worse and more itcher. So, I've been back to another doctor who confirmed what I thought, I don't have eczema on my face. It is merely, a case of adult acne...

Oh the Joys lol!
But the moisturiser and antibiotic that the doctor has given me, seems to be doing the trick... Touch Wood! Haha

Other than that my skincare routine is the same and still using the RoC below!

Hello Beauties

After trying many different and fancy skincare products for cleansing and cleaning my rather annoying skin, I’ve found that the RoC Demaquillage Actif Foaming Facial Wash is by far the best product of the lot.

I’ll start by saying that I have combination skin i.e. dry checks and an oily “T-Zone” which is illustrated below for people who are unsure what I mean… I’m sure you do but here goes anyway

However, over the last 6 or so months, I’ve developed eczema on my face which causes my checks and jaw line to become very itchy and breakout in minor acne. The doctor tried me on creams and moisturisers but all they did was make my skin oilier. As with anyone I presume, I had a good ole’ moan to my Mum who suggested trying to find the RoC again as it was fabulous when sold in most stores and helped both of our skins when used.

After much searching on the internet for this product again, I finally managed to find it here
and bought a good 18 months worth and I couldn’t be happier… my skin is finally feeling better and long may it continue!

For anyone that would like to know, the description on the back of the product states -

Soap Free Formula. Helps to remove impurities and makeup . Its moistursing agent leaves the skin soft, while thouragly cleansed. Work into a lather in previously moistursised hands. Cleanse the skin. Rinse off.

If you have any skincare gems or holy grails that you would recommend, please do and let me know in the comments below.

Thank you for reading again and I hope you are having a fabulous week!

Favourite Blushers

Hi Beauties

Today, I want to show you my favourite blushers at the moment.

The four that are my favourite(above) are Nars Deep Throat (the pinky/peachy one on the left), The GlossyBox UK free gift from the December Box(can be found here), the one at the back is from Body Shop and I've had it for years as you can see from the state of it lol! The final one is from MAC called Springsteen which I've pictured in a recent Haul post here.

I absolutely LOVE blushers and the ones above are amazing. My favourite of my favourites (think that made sense) is the Body Shop one. It is really natural looking and brightens up your skin. Sniff... I've just tried to find this beauty on the Body Shop website and it is nowhere to be found! Argh!!

Oh well, I think that I may just have to start embracing the others. I have to say I've been using a mixture of the GlossyBox one and the MAC one together recently and they have been working a charm. They look so so good together and give almost the same effect as the Body Shop one on its own.

I went a bit mad shopping last Saturday....

Hello beauties!

So... I went into the Mac counter and the YSL counter at Debenhams last Saturday to buy Mac Foundation and a red YSL lipstick. Well... I actually came out with the following:

Mac Foundation and Pump. The foundation is in NW20.

Nikki Minaj Lipstick in Viva Glam

Mac Blusher in Springstein

YSL Lipstick in Rouge Volupté - 12 Corail Incandescent

YSL Lipbalm - Top Secrets

YSL Beauty pack that included eye highlighter, mascara, eye pencil and a sample size of eye cream and eye makeup remover.

After this point, I thought that I had bought enough, so went to my Acting class and put the amount of money I'd spent to the back of my mind. This worked until the class finished...

After arriving back in the City Centre, I headed to Primark for a "look". "Window Shopping" while inside you could say. I ended up coming out with a bag full of jewellery, makeup bag, leggings, a pretty blouse and a pretty dress.

Moral of the story...

I shouldn't of gone :(

At least I got a lot of nice clothes and makeup from my trip. BONUS!

Hope you all have a good weekend and speak soon
